FAITH PROMISE

What is Faith Promise Giving?

A Faith Promise is a financial commitment to missions based upon the conviction that God wants you to give that amount to missions; an amount not necessarily dependent upon known or anticipated resources.

This act of giving by faith is based not on what you can give by your own ability, but on what you will trust God to give through you!

Faith Promise giving is scriptural. 2 Corinthians 8-9 tells us about this. Paul wrote, "Going to the limit of their resources...and even beyond the limit, they begged to be allowed to share." The only way to give beyond their resources was for God to provide in unexpected ways. 

A FAITH PROMISE IS

1.   Between you and God and is not a pledge to the church.

2.   Over and above your regular giving to support your church.

3.   Beyond what you can see. You trust God to supply it and give it when He does.

Therefore pray, "Lord, what do you want to give through me?" Then give as God provides. This is a great adventure of faith, and God will honor Himself as you make the promise.

Nation-2-Nation Training - India

Since 2005, N2NCU has been working to see every Christian worldwide equipped for ministry, trained up in the Word of God, and empowered to lead their communities out of spiritual and physical poverty. 

Our project will assist in funding the translation of their training courses into Hindi, the third most spoken language in the world. The total cost of the Hindi translation project is $65,000. We plan to join other churches to help reach this major segment of the world population.

FAITH PROMISE GOAL: $5,000

The Boughton Family: Thailand

Laurie Boughton has been providing educational therapy and consultation to learning disabled (LD) children and their families in SE Asia since 2017.  Currently there are no Christian School Psychologists available in Thailand, and Laurie has been asked to pursue licensure as an Educational Diagnostician to fill this need. Her licensure/certification will authorize her to perform academic and cognitive testing, along with developing the treatment plans necessary for LD children to thrive. Laurie started her 18-month Ed.S. training in January 2023, at a cost of $13,000. Our project goal is to raise 50% of her training.

FAITH PROMISE GOAL: $6,500 (50% of Educational Diagnostics Certification)

Gallop – Rebecca Brittingham – Taiwan

Gallop aspires to bring the Truth back into education in the unreached nation of Taiwan. One of their many projects is to offer various courses to our community to build relationships and share the love of Christ focusing on the three most critical people groups in Taiwan – children, teens, and the elderly. Since education is so important in the Taiwanese culture, Gallop’s primary purpose is to use education as a platform to share about Jesus.

This faith promise will specifically be used to help to purchase equipment and materials to fulfill their mission. It will also provide the financial support needed to expand their reach.
