RIVER KIDS ENVIRONMENTS
At Riverbend, we love kids and we want them to know just how much God loves them too! We do this in our kids ministry through fun, exciting, and age appropriate environments.
Rain Drops
RAIN DROPS is a colorful and engaging environment where babies up to two year olds are nurtured and discover God’s love for them. Your children will spend time building friendships with others and with God as they sing and dance and play! Caring leaders create a place where children can have fun and be safe at the same time. We can’t wait to meet you!
Puddles & Streams
PUDDLES (2-3 year olds) and STREAMS
(4-5 year olds) are our PreK – K environments. This is where kids explore and connect the truth of God’s love for them in small groups with leaders who care about them and their next step in following Christ. Great volunteers, interactive curriculum, and engaging activities are what make these life giving environments for everyone! We are looking forward to partnering with you and your child to help discover their part in God’s story!
Rapids
RAPIDS is our exciting environment for kids in 1st-5th grade. We meet in our Church Annex where your children will learn about our awesome God and have a fun time too! Children are encouraged to work on spiritual disciplines like learning Bible verses, doing regular devotions, and sharing their faith in everyday settings. They are also given opportunities to pray and see how God answers their prayers! Our devoted team loves what they do and it shows. Our 1st-5th graders can’t wait to come back the next week! You'll find that something exciting is always going on at RAPIDS!
WE NEED HELPING HANDS!!
There are many roles to fill in the River Kids ministry team. There are teachers, assistants, room cleaning and prep, and check-in teams. We even have set up teams during the week! If you have a heart for children, and want to get plugged into River Kids, contact DeShelle Jordan today.
