"Wonderful Counselor"

This Sunday we’re kicking off our Christmas series, He Will Be Called, by looking at one of Scripture’s most powerful Messianic promises in Isaiah 9:6. For the next four weeks, we’ll explore the titles God gave His people to recognize the coming Savior. This week, we’re focusing on “Wonderful Counselor”; a name that reveals both the miraculous nature of Jesus and His desire to guide His people with wisdom, intimacy, and supernatural care. We’ll look at the context Isaiah spoke into, why the world desperately needed a Messiah then (and now), and how Jesus still offers us His wonderful counsel today.
